Seeking whip-smart writers who are passionate about telling the story of the world’s leading camera innovator, Insta360. The right candidate will be a versatile writer who relishes the opportunity to polish a video script in the morning and write a feature story on a VR nature documentarian in the afternoon. As part of the Communications Team within Insta360’s Marketing Department, the chosen candidate will play a primary role in defining, developing and delivering key messages for all new products and campaigns. Writing work includes web content, branding materials, promotional copy, news releases, video scripts and building stories for blog/social media. Requirements 1. Passion for technology, cameras, photography and filmmaking; 2. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, marketing, communications, or other similar field; 3. 2-4 years of experience in journalism, marketing, writing, editing, or other similar roles; 4. Excellent command of English, able distill complex ideas and craft stories with a compelling tone of voice that keeps the audience engaged; 5. Strong research abilities and ability to build stories from their research; 6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and understand others as part of a team; 7. Self-motivated, driven to achieve and desire for constant improvement; 8. Experience with creative storytelling, video production, and carrying projects from start to finish.
Native English speaker preferred; Chinese or other language skills is a plus.
